Diamond in the Rough Recovery, founded by Heather O’Neil, provides individual coaching, outpatient services, and therapy for those navigating alcohol and drug dependence. We are committed to supporting not just sobriety, but lasting transformation—helping individuals build a strong, balanced recovery in every area of life.
Heather O’Neil comes to the recovery field with extensive training in reaching her own personal goals. She has overcome her own demons of drugs, alcohol, obesity, trauma, and codependency. Heather is a graduate of the intense Haven/Peer 1 program where she began to understand how to lead, love, and support those in recovery. She has completed a prison and parole sentence where she experienced the power of humility, kindness, and forgiveness. She has also lost 115 pounds in her journey and is passionate about helping others mine and value the gems deep within themselves. Heather has built three businesses while pursuing her own recovery where she learned to be goal orientated, driven, and impact lives. Her enthusiasm for helping others achieve their deepest desires and repairing family relationships is contagious. Heather believes in the power of the spoken word, putting a vision in front of you, surrounding yourself with those who can help you reach it, and taking the courageous actions to live your vision!
Luke is a firm believer in positive affirmations and the power of mind. After multiple incarcerations and dark days of drugs and alcoholism, Luke has made peace with himself and the child within. Focusing on positives in situations molded with a desire to get his life in order, he has decided it's time to give back. Using empathy, he can identify with others going through similar situations. "No one has to go it alone; it's the dawn of a new age and time to be the best we can be not only for our friends and family but most importantly for ourselves."
"I am so grateful to have been given an opportunity to work with those actively seeking the life of recovery. In the past, I was an educator and athletic director for over a decade. I have always been passionate about educating and enhancing other people to discover and grow within themselves and with others. I have experienced firsthand what substance abuse, addiction, and destructive behaviors can do to a person's life. I am currently living the life of recovery myself. Life is hard, it's relentless. Suffering and disappointment are a part of it, but I have realized that in every circumstance, I have a chance to experience more joy and peace than I ever imagined. No one is meant to live this life alone. No matter how low or hopeless you are, you are never alone. I look forward to an opportunity to share my knowledge."

"I am a recovered meth addict (11 years clean) who finds joy in the little things of life. I found my way to inner peace through circumstances I would have never imagined. I decided, while sitting in prison, to finally do the work I needed in order to have a healthy and honorable life. I believe self-awareness, self-love, and focusing on recognizing and healing my trauma is what set my soul free. I am passionate about spreading hope to others by leading through example and offering non-judgmental support."
"I come from a long line of incarceration and addiction. I am very passionate about helping others discover the very best version of themselves. I am determined to use my life experiences and losses and let them fuel me to help change the future for the next generation. I believe with the right support system anything is possible. I have seen the transformative power of recovery and am determined to share this with as many people as possible."
"I have struggled with substance abuse for a little over a decade which led me to multiple incarcerations. I am currently a participant in my community Adult Treatment Court program. I am a month away from my first anniversary in recovery. My life is completely different now compared to a year ago. I am grateful for the people who have encouraged and supported me in making it this far in my recovery. I am experiencing restored relationships with my family. I desire to support, promote, and assist others in building a life in recovery. I am motivated to give back by helping people in recovery. I want to assist them in reaching their personal goals in building a strong foundation in a life of recovery."
